I have a 1986 Bass Plexi and I would like to try out the Bainzy Mod to get some more gain.But it looks like on the diagram shown I would have to add like (6) posts to solder the new resistors. My question is there another digram to do this mod for a 1986 bass head without having to add the extra posts.Thanks...

None exists, but surely it wouldn't be hard for you to adapt what is there?
These screw into existing nuts & bolts on your amp:
http://metroamp.com/store/index.php?mai ... cts_id=294so in theory you could always just install the mod using these, wiring point to point instead of having a turret board (posts).

Hey Thanks Bainzy,
It was funny because, I just have started to get into doing my own modding. And for what ever reason I had one of those kicking around and I have installed that and add my wiring.Just working out the bug's now.But it sure is fun and can't wait to here the final product.
